"Jeez. It'd be even better if they paid for you when you came to places like this," Alice giggled. "Wait, let me guess... They do pay." She stabbed a piece of the pasta and popped it into her mouth. "You joined the Government for the money..? Why? You know, money doesn't bring happiness. You get so much of it, then the Government takes it, forces you to stay in the country and won't allow you to spend any of your money, take any of your money out. They plan to take it all once you die." She scooped some more pasta into her mouth. "Then again, I suppose there are ways around that," She said, shrugging and taking a sip of her drink, to cool her mouth.

"Aww, it's not to get rich. My family needed the money at the time. My parent's knew I had a job, but they didn't know that I was depositing money into their bank account. They've always thought it was interest or summin'." He shrugged, took a bite of pizza, and chewed thoughtfully. Swallowing, he turned back to alice. "If I hadn't've given them the money, all of us would probably be living out on the streets. Well, I guess they've figured out that I'm helping them.. But they don't say anything 'bout it." He picked up a chip and threw it over the wall. Sparrows and pigeons were on it in an instant. They squabbled over the one chip so he threw a few more down. Felix spun his glass around, staring at it. Though he looked at the glass, it looked like he was staring through it.

Alice raised her eyebrows in surprise but didn't say anything. She scooped the last of her pasta into her mouth and then turned to look down at the birds fighting over the chips. She then picked up her drin kand continued to sip at it as she gazed out towards the sea, yet again. The dolphins were back again, a few more this time. They were playing with the swimmers lucky enough to be out in the water. Her necklace swung around on her neck. A large, german shepard ran past, barking, and startled the birds, scattering them into the air. She peered closer and chuckled. That was Aflie. He was a troublesome dog, and he was always escaping from the one who took him for walks. She suspected that her workmate, Jakkie, was taking him for a walk today. She was right. Jakkie came running after the dog soon after. She shouted Alfies name and cursed. "Don't worry, Jakkie! I'm sure he'll tire soon!" Alice called down. Jakkie looked up, shot her a glare, and then continued running after the dog.

Felix grinned. "Cute dog," He said, nodding towards the german shepard. He finished off the last of his chips and pizza and then called the waiter over. He handed the man some money and winked at Alice. "My shout." The waiter left and Felix grinned at Alice. "Don't suppose you're interested in going for a walk along the beach, are ya? I mean, today's probably one of the sunniest days yet, and we've both got no work for the rest of the day...?" He took notice of his whiskey and finished it off. "So, what d'ya say?"

Alice frowned at him. "I could've paid for myself.." She stood up and picked her things up off the floor. "Sure, I'd like to go to the beach." She loved the beach, trouble was that she never got to go down there much, due to work. "It's true. Today is the first day of sun since weeks of rain." She chuckled and brushed a stray strand of hair out of her eyes. "My car's parked along the way. Mind if we stop there so I can chuck my stuff in it?"

"Sure!" Felix grinned. "Yesssss! I'm getting somewhere! He got up and walked with Alice to the door. Once outside, he reached up onto his head and slid his sunglasses onto his nose, hiding his golden eyes. Reaching up, he scratched at the scars on his cheek. The scars still bothered him, not as much as they used to. Well, the one on his chest seemed to have gotten a bit worse.. More painful than when he was stabbed by his mate. Up ahead, he sighted a black and silver car. He glanced at Alice, and then back at the car. "That's your car?" He asked, his mouth gaping. "Sweet!"

She chuckled. "It's only a volvo," she shrugged. Going around, she went and opened the boot and chucked her things in. Locking the car again, Alice danced back to Felix. It was only a few more metres to the beach now. "Hey, I'll show you this spot I found, down on the beach. It's sheltered, out of the way, hidden and I don't think anyone else knows about. All the time I've gone there, no one else has been there." She smiled and flicked her hair behind her ears. "And there's this dolphin, he's usually there when I go. There's a little pool i nthe middle of the place, it's connected to the sea. Once, he had a little baby with him. Oh, they're so cute!"

"Aw, I feel privledged," Felix grinned. He jumped off the footpath and onto the sand. Bending down, he scooped up a blood red shell. He twirled it around in his hand as they walked. "So, where's this little place, then?" He asked, grinning towards Alice. Of all the animals in the world, dolpins, wolves and foxes would have to be his favourite. Oh, and narwhales. Hrm.. Then again, he loved tarantulas and snakes too... As they got closer to the water, he cast the shell far out into the waves. The dolphins were still there, splashing around with a couple of swimmers and some boats.

Alice shrugged. "It's down the beach a bit." Smiling, she danced around a sand castle, scuffing up some sand as she did so. "This guy's really nice." She thought, smiling. A couple of kids ran past, chasing their dog. She watched as the dog lead them in circles and then ran back the way it had came. Suddenly, it decided to head back down the beach. Alice sidestepped before the large dog could knock her over. Unfortunatnley, the dog decided to change course at the last second and it hit her on the side, sending her falling down. A scream escaped her lips as she was about to splash into the water.

"Woah!" Felix's arms shot out and caught Alice before she was sent sprawling into the water. Chuckling, he helped her up. "That was a close one, eh?" He left one arm draped around her shoulders when she was up on her feet again. He smiled crookedly at Alice. "Am I right to guess that we're almost at this spot of yours?" He asked. There weren't many people down this way, so he figured that Alice's spot must be around here. If it was around a whole heap of people, how would she be able to keep it secret otherwise?

Alice blushed when Felix left his arm around her shoulders. "Thanks..." She mumbled. "Uh, yeah. It's just here.." She started walking towards a large, deep stream of water where at the end, was a cluster of trees. Alice grabbed his hand and led him under the small group of trees into a small, sheltered area. There was a very large pool of sea water in the middle of the place which was surrounded by golden sand. There were a few rocks around and the trees around where they had entered. Up the back of the spot was a few sand grass plants. "I'll see if I can call him.." She said, referring to the dolphin. Alice knelt down by the giant pool and slapped the surface. After a few mintues, something bumped her hand and then a grey head stuck itself out of the water. It was the dolphin. "I've kinda named him Jasper," She chuckled.

"Jasper, eh?" Felix grinned and knelt down besides Alice. He hesiantly reached out his hand towards the dolphin. It was wild.. so there was no garuntee that it wouldn't attack.. But Jasper seemed alright and allowed Felix to rub his side. He laughed and flicked some water at Alice. Jasper made some clicking sounds and turned around, flipping his tail at Felix. He chuckled and then splashed some water at the dolphin. Felix was soaked. Laughing, he shook his head, sending water spraying everywhere.

Alice giggled as Jasper splashed Felix. "Good on ya, Jazz," She said, scratching the dolphin on a fin. He made some happy screeches and blew water out his blowhole. She giggled again as most of it caught Felix again. "Hey, where's the baby?" She asked. Jasper seemed to understand her as he started clicking and screeching. He then turned and dove undre the water, not before giving another giant splash with his tail. Laughing, Alice sheilded her face with her arms. "Hrm.. I wonder if he actually understood me..." She wondered, following the dark, blurred shape of Jasper.

"Hey, what are you laughing at?" Felix growled playfully. He thought about splashing Alice but figure he wouldn't be able to get her as wet as he was. There was, of course, the other alternative... Grinning slyly, he stood up and walked over to Alice. His grin widened as she looked at him curiously. When he was behind her, he wrapped his arms around her in a giant bear hug, wetting her with his dripping wet clothes. "Haha! Now I get... Revenge!" Felix chuckled.

She squealed and tried to get out of Felix's firm hold, but to no avail. Sighing, Alice gave in. "You know, you could have just chucked me in the water." She grinned, leaning back into his chest. Water from his clothing was wetting hers, but at least she wasn't as wet as he was. Reaching up, she flicked some hair out from his eyes. She wrinkled her nose, chuckling. "You know.. You kinda smell like a wet dog," Alice said, smiling.
