"I belong to an organization that wants you dead," He nodded. "And now they will be after me." He frowned. "Well, not after me. My family..." He sighed. "Come on, we've gotta get you outta here... Got a phone?" He suddenly asked, turning and walking backwards so he was facing her. "If it rings, don't answer. Even if it says it's your mom that's calling." He spun around again, casting his eyes all around. "I don't want to be a part of the Government," He murmured, glancing back at Laura. "They forced me into joining. Said if I didn't, they'd kill my family. My brother'll be the next to join, probably. And when my sisters, old enough, I guess they'll make her join as well..."

((It didn't post DX Noooo! XD)) There's nowhere to run So let's just get it over.
"I belong to an organization that wants you dead." He nodded, she flinched. "And now they will be after me." He frowned. "Well, not after me. My family..." His family? She'd never considered that. Well, why should she? Up until five minutes ago, he had just been a poet in a cemetery, looking over her shoulder with a mixed expression on his face. Minutes later, she was being told that she was a key (A pawn, more like) so that the organisation he worked for could kill her mother. Who happened to be a spy. She couldn't get her head around that last one.
"Come on, we've gotta get you outta here... Got a phone?" Her blue eyes looked up, startled. It took her a split second to renounce her earlier decision to not let him know she had a phone. After all, he had a family too. He had as much a right to using the phone as she did, correct? More so, probably. "If it rings, don't answer. Even if it says it's your mom that's calling." Laura nodded, speechless. She'd gotten the information she'd wanted. Now the question would be what she would do with it. Urgh. Blue-grey eyes avoided his eye, preoccupied, as she slipped her hand into the shoulder-bag and retrieved the Samsung. Still looking towards the road, she proffered the phone.
"I don't want to be a part of the Government." Laura grinned, half-heartedly. She could believe that much. It explained so much. She turned back to look at him, letting the hand holding the phone gently lower, back to her side. "They forced me into joining. Said if I didn't, they'd kill my family. My brother'll be the next to join, probably." The word 'brother' made her flinch, then immediately wish she hadn't. She was worried about her brother; mostly her mother... but Felix had his whole family to worry about. "... And when my sister's old enough, I guess they'll make her join as well..." She nodded, unable to think of a suitable response. She let a minute or two pass, as they walked in silence. She had nothing to say; what could she?
The cemetery gates swung into view; passed over head. There was the road, with its bus stop and ten car-parks. A small family -father, older brother, baby sister- were just exiting the car with sombre expressions. The youngest clutched a bouquet of what looked to be home-grown flowers. "I'll take it leaving the country is out of the question," she asked, without any real expression in it. The answer was probably one she already know; small-talk was the only way she knew to keep the silence from frosting over. And silence was a private thing; she kept that for herself, alone.
Soon I know you'll see... You're just like me. Don't scream any more, my love, 'cause all I want is you.

Felix rolled his eyes. Pulling out a key from his pocket, he looked around at the cars. "I like the look of this one.." He mused, walking over to a sleek, jet black car. Putting the key in the lock, he pushed a button and the car clicked open. He grinned. "Then again, being in the Government has some advantages." He hopped in the car and took out a knife, opening a pannel. "Get in," He called to Laura. Messing around with a few wires, he managed to hot wire the car. It purred into life smoothly. "Oh-ho. I LOVE this car!" Felix said. "I must remember to get one for my brother.. Well, if we surive this, that is..." He put the car in gear and looked expectantly at Laura. "Shall we go look for your mum, my friend, or try our luck and go looking for some Twilight member?"

A place where the rules do not apply, You could never be denied.
Laura twitched briefly; her sarcasm appeared to have gone unnoticed. She was sensitive, strangely, about that kind of thing. It let her know that her prescience was being noticed. But she pushed down the feelings; come on, how many kids didn't dream of being in a moment like this? And she was twenty three years old, and was treating it like the... 'Like the life and death situation it is,' muttered one half of her, still unhappy with the whole 'disobey decades of listening to your mother's advice' thing. She ignored that too. For now, perhaps it was best to enjoy the ride?
"I like the look of this one..." A small grin flitted across her face. It was a very, very nice car. And whoever owned it wouldn't be too impressed to find it gone... Unless he was dead. She flinched, then wondered what the odds actually were, that they (or more precisely, Felix) would be driving in the dead man's car. Pretty good, she assumed. You didn't get paid peanuts for a job like that. "Then again, being in the Government does have its advantages. "Get in." She watched Felix intently over his shoulder for a moment longer, the grin still dancing over her face. This, to her surprise, was fun. It wouldn't be fun when there were more people shooting at them, but for now, it was fun. As the car purred into action, she grinned, and walked briskly over to the passenger's door, opening it and sliding easily into the smooth leather. Laura had to fight the urge to snuggle into it; this was a really, really classy car. "Oh-ho. I LOVE this car!" Laura's response was a continuation of her smile, and a search for the seatbelt buckle. "I must remember to get one for my brother... Well, if we survive this, that is..." Looking up at Felix as she fastened her seatbelt, she couldn't help noticing that strange colour of his eyes again. A fantastic shade of gold, they were. Then she remembered what she was thinking, and broke the gaze quickly, instead examining the beautiful interior of the car. It looked pretty high tech to her... Not that she knew anything about cars. It was certainly customised; so many buttons, and that stylised design... It was in the center of the steering wheel, so she couldn't take a good look at it, not without brushing Felix's arm... 'Stop thinking!"
Almost pointedly, she turned and looked out the window, to where the family was heading in slow procession up the cemetary. "Shall we go look for your mum, my friend, or try our luck and go looking for some Twilight member?" Her mum. The desire to confirm that option was short and sharp; she wanted to make sure her mother was safe! Gods, she could be shot right now, lying on the floor, the blood pooling around her like som grotesque shadow... But Laura bit her tongue. Her mother had managed for years, hadn't she? 'But today might be the day!' that part of her snarled. 'You never know!' And it's true, you don't know where she is, either. 'He might.' No. Laura sat in silence for a moment, fighting between a selfish request and the hunger of needing to know. Then turned back to Felix, somewhat awkwardly. "Are you sure it'd be safe to see these 'Twilight's Rain' people... Since you're part of the Government?" Which, in Laura's hesitant manner, was her way of answering the question.
You took advantage of a good thing, And now the void you filled is empty.
((In terms of the car, I'm thinking a Porche Carrera GT (And yes, I had to look it up ) It's a pretty car...))
